Teatro Verde offers a selection of plays for small children as well as a series of 24 theatrical workshops, divided into age groups. New this year is a theatrical workshop in English for children aged six to eight and a sing-a-long and a series of musical encounters in English for babies up to three years and their mothers.
10-12 Nov. Il Pifferaio di Hamelin. The story of the Pied Piper of Hamelin for kids aged three to ten.
13-16 Nov. Le Quattro Stagioni. Kids go on an imaginary journey to discover the four seasons. Some involuntary mistakes teach children how to avoid harming nature. For kids aged three to eight.
17-20 Nov. I Cavalieri della Favola Gioconda is set in the city of Camelot, menaced by a terrible dragon. The population lives in fear until the young Artù and the magician Merlin free them from the legendary powers of the knights. For all ages.
21-24 Nov. This reworking of the famous fairy tale Hänsel and Gretel by the Grimm Brothers tells the story of two children, abandoned by their wicked stepmother and their submissive father, who are captured in the woods by a pastry witch. The woodland animals help free the two children, who now feel the need to build a new family. For kids aged three to eight.
25-27 Nov. Il Gallo Cristallo tells of two street artists, who move from city to city dragging a cart packed with all sorts of objects. When they meet children the two actors stop and stage shows to entertain them. The Crystal Cock, the Stork and the Wolf are among the protagonists, all driven by an insatiable hunger. For kids aged three to eight.
28 Nov-3 Dec. The musical fairy tale Scope, Stregoni e Magiche Pozioni is performed by actors and puppets and tells the story of the hard life of an apprentice wizard. For kids aged three to eight.
4-6 Dec. A big three-dimensional pop-up book tells the story of The Ugly Duckling. During its life between the farm and the pond the duckling has some difficult moments, but then makes friends with other animals. For kids aged three to eight.
