14 July 2007. This is a gift from the city of Rome to anyone who happens to be in town. It all started back in 2003 when Paul McCartney sung for hundreds of thousands gathered near the Colosseum. Then it was the turn of Simon & Garfunkel, Elton John, Billy Joel and Bryan Adams, and this year, the legendary rock group Genesis is back together in its original formation for the event which takes place in the Circo Massimo. The precise start time was still to be confirmed as we went to press, but if you want to get close take a tent and camp out at least 24 hours before!
