28 May-2 June 2005. This is Romes first ever festival entirely dedicated to Thai culture. The event aims to promote Thailands rich culture and also features a fundraising concert in aid of the victims of the recent tsunami catastrophe. The festival includes traditional musical theatre performances, folk dances, puppets and the art of Thai boxing. A separate section features cinema and visual arts. Art exhibitions and installations find their place side by side with a precious collection of antique Thai puppets and floral compositions by Thailands most famous florist. The event also includes the possibility of having a Thai massage and a taste of Thai food.
