The first part of the programme consists of the work Southern Comfort performed by South African-born dancers Gregory Maqoma and Shanell Winlock. The second piece, Bound, choreographed by Belgian-Moroccan Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, is a delicate and theatrical exploration of the ties that bind. Maqoma, Winlock and Cherkaoui met at a school founded by Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker. Ten years later, although Maqoma lives in South Africa, Shanell in London, and Cherkaoui in Belgium, their discussion has never ceased. In the first part, Maqoma re-creates Southern Comfort, composed in 2001 for Shanell and himself. In Bound, Cherkaoui guides Maqoma and Winlock to a point they would never have

reached without him.
