For one day only the Cinema Barberini in Rome screens "The Doors Live At The Bowl '68" on 27 February.
Filmed at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles in July 1968, the now-remastered film features The Doors in their prime, and is widely regarded as the band's finest performance ever captured on film.
The concert has been described by critics as "musically-impressive, tight and well-paced", in comparison to the somewhat hesitant performances in the band's earlier days, and the overblown, improvisational concerts that were to follow.
The 20 songs featured include classics such as "When the Music's Over", "Alabama Song", "The Unknown Soldier" and "The End".
