The Nutcracker
The Balletto di Roma with choreography by Mario Piazza who was born in Canada but has worked extensively in Italy and was the guest choreographer for the Rome Opera season in 2010.
Piazza has still another take on this traditional favourite. With its video games and contemporary installations this interpretation has proved so successful that it is now running for a sixth Christmas season in Rome.
