18, 25 Nov. This puppet theatre play, entitled Il Guardiano dei Porci (The Swineherd), is inspired by the Andresen’s fairy tale and is suggested for kids aged three to seven.

It tells the story of a clumsy young prince from a tiny kingdom, who decides to marry a lonely and spoiled princess from an important kingdom. In order to ask for her hand, he gives her two very special presents, but the princess refuses them and mocks him. The prince does not give up and gets hired as a guardian of the royal pigs. From the bottom of the sty he will conquer the princess’ heart, relying on her curiosity and on ingenious musical instruments.
