28 July. Tickets have gone on sale for "The Wall", a concert by former Pink Floyd member Roger Waters at Rome's Olympic Stadium on 28 July. 

The Wall concerts, which are regarded as among the most ambitious and complex rock shows ever staged, see Waters performing Pink Floyd's classic 1979 album "The Wall" in its entirety.

However Waters has promised that the 2013 show will be more "poignant, exciting, dramatic and compelling" than before, thanks to modern technology.

The veteran English musician is currently working on a new album which will probably be released in 2013.

His other Italian concert date announced is 26 July at the Stadio Euganeo in Padua.
