Fragments of theatrical re-enactments intertwined with evocative tales to get to know the history of the ancient Romans: for tourists and students alike, an opportunity for a rather singular visit to the archaeological remains of Ostia Antica via a guided tour with Alessandro Rubinetti, actor, director and guide of this cultural stroll through local history.

The tour begins from the ancient necropolis and takes in religious temples, antique residences, as well as a tavern, which has remained intact despite dating back to the 3rd century AD. In the concave auditorium of the old theatre, visitors are invited to test out the acoustics by talking through a niche in the walls. Then the tour proceeds to the third floor of an insulae to admire a breathtaking overview of the remains before entering the baths and arriving at Mithra's temple buried underground.
