Alessandro Talevi's production of Tosca returns to Rome.
4-13 Dec. This is last season's new production of the Puccini favourite by the young South African director Alessandro Talevi who based his work on some of the sketches of the first production of the opera performed in Rome in January 1900. It was well received when it was staged earlier this year, first in March and then again in June. This staging is with a slightly different cast but it is also conducted by Donato Renzetti.
