This didactic tour of Castel S. Angelo is for children aged three and older and their families.

Children discover the secrets of this beautiful fort, its secret passages, traps, graves and prisons. Children will be entertained with games and riddles.

Built in 123 AC, this castle was originally conceived as a mausoleum for Emperor Adrian and his family. This castle has gone through a series of transformations and developments over a period of two thousand years. The funeral monument became a fortified outpost, a jail and also a splendid residence during the Renaissance, which hosted several Popes as well as Michelangelo. It was transformed into a prison during the Risorgimento and finally into a museum.
