Tracey Emin: Waiting to Love
9 May-15 Sept. Galleria Lorcan O'Neill presents its fifth exhibition dedicated to British contemporary artist Tracey Emin who shot to international fame in 1998 with My Bed, her controversial installation which was returned recently to the Tate Britain alongside works by Francis Bacon.
Born in 1963, Emin is a leading figure of the Young British Artists movement - a loose group of visual artists who began exhibiting together in London in 1988.
Her Rome exhibition comprises recent works including new paintings, sculptures, neon, large-scale embroideries and a series of works on paper.
The exhibition revolves around three large paintings which mark the artist's return to painting after a break in recent years.
