23-26 Feb 2005: organised by the Casa delle Letterature in conjunction with city authorities, four days of intense literary discussions on European themes. European writers Dacia Maraini (Italy), Jonathan Coe (Britain), Colm Toibin (Ireland), Rosa Montero (Spain) and Jean Rouaud (France) will give talks and dialogue with politicians and with the public on EU issues. The resulting texts will give life to a book entitled LInternazionale degli Scrittori. The aim of the initiative is to highlight the civil and political value of literature.
