23-24 Nov. The American University of Rome's Department of International Relations hosts a two-day international conference entitled "Transnational Organized Crime – Italian Connections".
The conference focuses on Italy’s current roles within transnational organised crime networks and the on-going attempts to weaken these through legislation, enforcement and grassroots activism. The conference aims to provide a forum for academics, policymakers and operators in the field to discuss issues of common concern.
Key note speakers are Professor Nando dalla Chiesa, University of Milan, and Dott. Vincenzo Macri, Procuratore Generale, Ancona. Other Speakers are from Ghana, Macau, Australia, Britain and the US.
