Coinciding with the bicentenary of Napoleons coronation this exceptional private collection of objects related to the private life of the Emperor goes on display for the first time at the Muse Jacquemart-Andr in one of the most sumptuous buildings in Paris. Previously unseen objects from Napoleons daily life and a collection of stunning decorative arts make this an unique anthology showcasing Napoleon's meteoric career, as well as the artistic tastes and fashions of the time from the splendour of the Imperial court to his post-1815 life in exile. Amounting to over 200 pieces taken from the Napoleon Foundation itself derived from the Lapeyre collection. This is an exclusive occasion for learning about the intimate side of the life of one of historys greatest-ever leaders.
