Van Gogh. The colours of Suffering
Van Gogh by Compagniapetrillodanza is a new work by Loris Petrillo, one of Italy’s most important choreographers and innovative teachers of dance. The work is a series of scenes for one dancer, interpreting various emotional phases of the painter’s life.
The narrative is inspired by the work of clinician Renzo Ovidi who believes that Van Gogh was not mad but suffered from acute lack of affection.
