Veronica della Porta: Nessuna proprietà per la memoria
15 Dec-20 Jan. Veronica Della Porta presents ten works completed between 2009 and 2017 in her first show at MAC Maja Arte Contemporanea.
The exhibition's title, meaning "Memory owns nothing", comes from a 1962 poem by Wislawa Szymborska.
Della Porta is a set and costume designer originally from Modena but based in Rome. She is a photographer but not "in a traditional sense" according to the show's curator Nora Iosia who says the ten exhibited works "play with memory, calling to mind a single fleeting instant."
