The 2013 scholars of the German Academy at Villa Massimo open their studios to the public for the first time on Wednesday 27 March from 19.00-21.30.

The “Open Studios” event is the first major appointment of the year on the academy's cultural calendar.

This year it includes the work of David Schell, Isa Melsheimer and Clemens von Wedemeyer (visual arts); Pia Maier Schriever and Verena von Beckerath (architecture); Marίa Cecilia Barbetta and Sibylle Lewitscharoff (literature); Stefan Johannes Hanke and Birke J. Bertelsmeier (musical composition); and Dieter Froelich (applied arts).
