Vincent Van Gogh: Campagna senza tempo e città moderna.
8 Oct-6 Feb 2011. A major exhibition dedicated to the work of Vincent Van Gogh is curated by one of Van Gogh's leading biographers Cornelia Homburg. The exhibition comprises 110 of the Dutch master's most famous paintings and drawings, many of which are on loan from museums around the world. The paintings selected contrast the artist's love of the lonely expanse of the countryside with the bright lights of the city. His works, which recently attracted enormous interest at London's Royal Academy of Arts, are on display in Rome for the first time in over 20 years.
