Legambiente, the Italian environmental association, is holding a three-week camp for volunteers from 2 to 22 March and three weekend camps during the same period in the ex-monastery of S. Giorgio degli Osservanti, near Goriano Valli, in the Abruzzo region. Participants will work on the organic vegetable garden and help maintain the footpaths of the Sirente Velino regional park, where the convent is located. The cost is e171 for the three week camp and e65 for weekend projects, plus e26 for the Legambiente membership. Costs include food and lodging. There will also be the opportunity to spend the Easter period on a camp from 23 to 31 March in the same location.
