This Art Is Too Smart exhibition by Waone at Galleria Varsi
1 Dec-12 Jan. Galleria Varsi shows the work of Ukrainian artist Vladimir Manzhos, aka Waone, whose work is characterised by the use of symbols, with diverse influences including mythological tales, orthodox icons and Belgian comic art. The Kiev-based artist creates surreal images of seemingly still figures, emerging from spiralling cubes, against the backdrop of the planets, eternal fires and clock numbers.
