25 Sept-10 Jan. The narrative of the Liberation of Italy according to Italians and Americans is examined in this exhibition which features a selection of period war films and 140 images, many of which have never gone on public display.

The imagery, footage and commentary of Italy's Istituto Luce is contrasted with the perspective of the US Signal Corps, both of which recorded the same events, from the Allied landing in Sicily in July 1943 until 1946, the year after world war two ended.
