The third edition of the marathon “We Run Rome” takes place on 31 December at 14.30.
The 10-km course through the historic centre starts and finishes at the Baths of Caracalla, and includes Piazza Venezia, Piazza del Popolo and the Colosseum.
There is also a non-competitive version of the event which begins once the competitive runners leave the starting line, and follows the same route.
The streets on the route will be closed to traffic until 16.30 and the race will take place regardless of bad weather.
