30 Nov 2004. Come the end of November the new wines are ready, so what better time to have a wine tasting street party? The Vila Viniteca is one of the best wine shops in Barcelona. It has been selling wine in the Gotico since 1932 and stocks a huge range of Spanish and Catalan wines. Every year the company organises a wine-tasting event in the streets around Calles Agullers en el Barrio de la Ribera. For the princely sum of just 4 visitors receive a wineglass to be refilled as many times as they want with all sorts of local and national wines. The surrounding restaurants also participate in the event by offering local specialities for free. A unique chance to have tapas and wine amongst the locals - not to be missed!
