16 June. For the second consecutive year Rome celebrates World Tapas Day, an annual event marked by more than 30 countries worldwide, on 16 June.
Organised by Spain's tourism agency to promote the culture of Spanish food, the event will be celebrated throughout the day by numerous bars, restaurants and hotels around Rome.
Participating venues include Porto Fluviale and Gazometro 38 in the Ostiense area, Primo al Pigneto, Sorì in S. Lorenzo, Settembrini in Prati, Pasticcio in Testaccio, and Queen Makeda in S. Saba.
