Writer Dermot Bolger at Irish Film Festa
30 March. The tenth edition of Irish Film Festa, the festival dedicated entirely to Irish cinema, pays tribute to the writer Dermot Bolger, who will appear in a meeting coordinated by John McCourt (University of Macerata) on Thursday 30 March at 19.00.
Born in 1959 in Finglas, a northern suburb of Dublin, Bolger is the author of novels, poems and plays. His best-known books include Verso casa (1997) and Figli del passato (2007), published in Italy by Fazi Editore.
Reserve your place at the event, for free, via Eventbrite. The Irish Film Festa takes place from 30 March to 2 April at its usual venue, the Casa del Cinema in Rome.
