29 Oct-1 Nov 2004. Alongside the increasing worldwide influence of Manga, Japan's comics phenomenon, also permeates every aspect of Japanese visual culture. The 10th International Manga Fair takes place at the end of October at La Farga de L'Hospitalet with a huge exhibition covering over 8,000 sqm. The event attracted more than 43,000 visitors last year and this year features hundreds of stands, special Japan-related activities and even costumed Manga enthusiasts portraying their favourite heros.

The festival is divided into different areas: commercial, projection room, conference and debating room, stage (with karaoke, martial arts and Japanese cultural shows), Manga workshop, model workshop, Manga library, videogames, exhibition, iinterpreting room.
