Yona Friedman: Mobile Architecture, People's Architecture
23 June-29 Oct. Exhibition of models, drawings and installations by Yona Friedman, the Hungarian-born French architect, urban planner and designer who was influential in the late 1950s and early 1960s.
Friedman is best known for his theory of mobile architecture, a Utopian concept which promoted the building of superstructures suspended over existing cities to avoid the need for extra land space.
