Bucolica artisan doughnuts in Rome
The recently-opened Bucolica - Ciambelleria Artigianale is dedicated to artisan ciambelle or doughnuts, handmade at its bakery each day, in what is a first for the Eternal City.
Costing between €1 and €3, Bucolica's doughnuts come in various shapes and sizes, and are made primarily from locally-sourced organic ingredients.
In addition to being able to choose from doughnut flavours such as apple blossom, ginger and dark chocolate, visitors to Bucolica can enjoy coffee, tea and smoothies.
