Himalaya Palace
Since the early 1990s this restaurant brings to Rome the flavours and scents of Indian cuisine, with dishes prepared according to traditional recipes. It offers fixed menus (a vegetarian one, a non-vegetarian one, and a fish-based one) but guests can also choose among many specialties based on chicken (for example tandoori and tikka masala chicken), meat (korma lamb, vindaloo pork or mutton), fish (masala, tandoori or vindaloo), rice (with vegetables, chicken, lamb or shrimps), indian bread, vegetarian dishes, Indian desserts and ice-creams. Drinks also come from India, so you will find yogurt and lemon juice drinks and tea, but there is also a choice of wines and beer. The restaurant includes two bright rooms, with simple furnishings with touches of saffron yellow and red, and an outdoor area used in the summer.
