Mattatoio Rome
The former MACRO Testaccio exhibition space is now known by its new name "Il Mattatoio" in reference to the building's former role as a slaughterhouse. 
Together with its sister site, MACRO on Via Nizza, the Mattatoio has come under the management of Azienda Speciale Palaexpo, a city-controlled body which manages Rome's Palazzo delle Esposizioni and Casa del Jazz.
The Mattatoio is open for temporary exhibitions, 14.00-20.00. Mon closed. For details see website.
