Rome between ancient and contemporary
A look at contemporary Rome and its integration with the city's millenary history.
In this walk, we will visit one of Rome's most underground neighbourhoods, discovering the world and language of street art and concluding our visit in the evocative Centrale Montemartini, where ancient and modern happily come together in a completely new setting.
The stop at the Centrale Montemartini will be important not only because of its repertoire of ancient art but also because it is one of the few excellent examples of the conversion of a disused space into a place dedicated to public and shared art.
