Closed as of 2018. One of the capital's newest Japanese-Brazilian fusion restaurants, São offers dishes combining traditional sushi with exotic fruit, served with South American cocktails such as Margarita, Mojito and Caipirinha.

Highlights on the menu include Harumaki - pasta rolls filled with riso, carrots, zucchine, broccoli and tofu - and BacaSao - croquettes with bacalà (cod), sweet potatoes, milk and coriander, all prepared by Japan's Ayako Shimizu and Brazil's Paulo R. Souza Aires.

Located in the S. Saba district at the Piazza Albania end of Viale Aventino, the trendy São replaces the Corner Bar that was once part of the Corner Hotel complex above.
