Zoomarine was born in Portugal where the company Mundo Aquatico – Parques Oceanográficos de Entretenimento Educativo - manages since 1991, the Park of Albufeira, the first Portuguese theme park on the marine environment.

In 2005, Zoomarine opens also in Italy, and today it represents the first educational entertainment theme park of central-southern Italy and is part of the Tourism affiliation of Roma Capitale.

A Park where the environmental education, science and research are key milestones of its own philosophy, but also a fun place thanks to rides for adults and kids, a 4D Cinema, swimming pools and Waterparks.

Inside the Park, which has an extension of about 40 hectares, there are a few zoological areas- The Island of the Dolphins, the Bay of Pinnipeds, the Forest of the Parrots, The Plain of birds of prey and The Walk around the lakes - where it is possible to admire educational demonstrations of dolphins, seals and sea lions, tropical birds, birds of prey and aquatic birds.

All the animal species of the Park were born in a controlled environment, in Zoomarine or in other parks, and therefore no specimens were taken from their natural environment.
